Surabaya court trial reveals details of HW Superhouse assault

During a trial at the Surabaya District Court on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, a witness provided testimony regarding an alleged assault at the HW Superhouse Graha Family nightclub.

Witness Sukma Tri Andrian testified that CCTV footage shows three individuals striking the victim, Bareno Bytago. The witness stated that the assault continued even after efforts were made to secure the victim.

The defendants, Jason Jarell Pello and Richardy George Gilbert Toha, contested the testimony. Pello disputed the claim that the assault was brief, while Toha claimed he was merely attempting to intervene and break up the altercation. The incident reportedly originated from a collision between the victim and an associate of the defendants in February 2026.
