Surabaya police identify motive in molotov attack on police posts

Police in Surabaya have identified the motive behind a molotov cocktail attack on two traffic police posts in the Margorejo and Bundaran Waru areas. The suspect, a 30-year-old online motorcycle taxi driver, reportedly acted out of resentment after previously receiving a traffic citation.

During interrogation, the suspect also expressed grievances regarding the handling of individuals with mental disorders by authorities. The individual demonstrated how the incendiary devices were constructed using discarded energy drink glass bottles filled with gasoline.
