A health laboratory analyst, Naufal Hidayah, is facing trial for allegedly using a laboratory ambulance to steal public iron chairs from various locations, including hospitals and university campuses. The presiding judge noted the unusual nature of using a medical service vehicle for theft.

In the business sector, an investor has reported the owners and directors of PT Sambal Bakar Indonesia to the Surabaya Police for alleged investment fraud totaling Rp1.4 billion. The dispute arose after the company reportedly terminated a partnership agreement unilaterally.

Additionally, the owner of the Sahati Indonesia umrah travel agency has been reported to the East Java Regional Police for alleged sexual violence and attempted forced abortion. Meanwhile, a legal dispute regarding a house auction in the Puri Mas residential area is proceeding through the Surabaya District Court, involving claims over a property won in a bank auction.
