Surasak denies rumors of Tourism Ministry Permanent Secretary transfer

Surasak Phancharoenworakul, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, has denied rumors regarding the transfer of Permanent Secretary Nattreeya Taweewong to the Prime Minister's Office. Speaking at Government House before a Cabinet meeting, Surasak clarified that there are currently no proposals for personnel transfers within his ministry.

The Minister stated that any upcoming personnel changes will be limited to filling positions that are becoming vacant due to upcoming retirements, specifically for deputy permanent secretary and inspector general roles. He noted that Nattreeya Taweewong is scheduled to retire from civil service next year.

Surasak praised Nattreeya's capabilities and her extensive experience, noting her previous background within the Prime Minister's Office, but emphasized that no government agency has requested her transfer.
