Surat artist crafts 6mm Ganesha idol on pencil tip

Patel Mayank Dineshbhai, a local artist in Surat, Gujarat, has created a microscopic 6mm Ganesha idol carved entirely on the tip of a pencil. The miniature sculpture has drawn significant attention during the Ganeshotsav festivities.

The artist reported that the project required five days of intense concentration and precision to complete. The idea for the micro-art originated two years ago after Dineshbhai successfully carved the letters of his name onto a pencil tip.

Following traditional festival customs, Dineshbhai intends to perform the ritual of visarjan by immersing the entire pencil after the worship is completed.
