Suriya and Jithu Madhavan film Scene set for November 6 release

The comedy-action film Scene, directed by Jithu Madhavan and starring Suriya, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6 as a Diwali special. Advance bookings for the film are set to open in Kerala on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

The production marks the Tamil cinema debut for director Jithu Madhavan and Malayalam actor Naslen. It also features the return of Nazriya Nazim to Tamil cinema after 12 years. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, with music composed by Sushin Shyam.

While trade reports suggest the film’s unique plotline may appeal more strongly to urban audiences and Telugu-speaking viewers than to B and C centers, some observers suggest these reports could be part of a promotional campaign. The film is expected to blend action and comedy, featuring Suriya in the role of DSP Inbaraj.
