Surrey, BC Summer Arts and Festival Schedule Announced

Surrey, British Columbia has released its summer calendar of cultural and community events. The musical "Cinderella" will run from June 26 to July 5 at the Surrey Arts Centre, while Lee Harris presents "The Oneness Experience" on July 2 at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. Jazz guitarist Hugh Penner performs a fundraiser concert on June 26 at Northwood United Church.

The city’s largest ticketed music festival, FVDED in the Park, takes place July 3‑4 in Holland Park with headliners Dom Dolla and Fisher, attracting around 25,000 attendees daily. A free "Sounds of Summer" concert series runs weekly in July and August across Surrey parks. On July 17, the Indian Summer Festival co‑presents "Ragas Reimagined" at the Surrey Arts Centre, featuring Raga Echoes and the Indo‑jazz group Raagaverse.

Additional highlights include a soulful musical evening on July 19 celebrating the Jain Temple’s 10th anniversary, a monthly "Clayton Coffee House" open‑mic at the Clayton Community Centre, Surrey Soccer Fan Zones for FIFA World Cup screenings at the Civic Plaza and other venues until July 19, the multicultural Surrey Fusion Festival July 18‑19 at Holland Park, and a Canada Day celebration on July 1 at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre.
