Surrey community events include farmers markets and music tributes

Surrey is hosting a variety of community events, including markets and musical performances. The Surrey Urban Farmers Market continues its weekly outdoor sessions at Royal Kwantlen Park on Saturdays.

Musical highlights include a Swahili Music Legends Tribute Concert at the Surrey Arts Centre on September 5, and a tribute concert for Dr. David Proznick on September 12. Other local offerings include the Clayton Coffee House for spoken-word artists and poets at the Clayton Community Centre, and Jazz Vespers at Northwood United Church.
