Surrey-Langley SkyTrain construction advisory issued for fall 2026
The British Columbia Government’s Transportation Investment Corporation (TIC) has issued a construction advisory for the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain corridor, effective through the end of November 2026.
The advisory covers three primary sections of the project: from 138th Street to 164th Street, 164th Street to 184th Street, and 184th Street to 203rd Street. Construction activities are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, though some work may occur outside these hours to ensure safety and efficiency.
Planned work includes station construction, roadworks, utility relocation, guideway and power substation construction, as well as track and systems installation. Residents, business owners, drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians should expect impacts such as increased vibrations and single-lane traffic in each direction.
