Residents in neighborhoods such as Pablo VI and Las Mercedes expressed concern that these improvised devices, which are connected to solar panels and aimed at residential areas, may be used by criminals to monitor neighbors and plan robberies. The District Mobility Secretariat has denied installing the equipment and urged citizens to report any unauthorized devices found in public spaces.
