Survivor contestant reveals strict food bans amid new season applications

Former Survivor contestant Nagihan Karadere has revealed strict production rules regarding food consumption during the competition. In a recent appearance on Sibel Arna's YouTube program, Karadere stated that contestants are prohibited from eating natural food found on the island, even when discovered in the wild.

Karadere shared an instance where the team found a root resembling a sweet potato, but production prevented them from consuming it. She noted that these restrictions contribute to severe hunger, which pushed her to the point of wanting to quit the competition due to extreme physical and mental exhaustion.

Meanwhile, preparations for the Survivor 2027 season have begun. Applications are being accepted via the TV8 website for those wishing to compete in the Dominican Republic. While an official start date has not been announced, following previous patterns, the new season is expected to premiere in early 2027.
