Survivor contestants suffer severe injuries, including leg amputation and disqualification

During filming of the Turkish reality show Survivor in the Dominican Republic, contestant Stavros Floros was struck by a tourist boat while spearfishing. He suffered critical injuries, resulting in the amputation of one leg and serious damage to the other, though his condition is not life‑threatening. Producer Acun Ilıcalı expressed sorrow, saying the accident was "a tragic incident" and that investigations are ongoing.

In a separate incident on Survivor All Star, contestant Barış Murat Yağcı fell on the obstacle course, breaking a finger. The injury requires lengthy treatment, leading the producers to disqualify him from the competition. Ilıcalı commented that the team was "left with no options" regarding the contestant's removal.
