Surya Kant inaugurates new health centre at Supreme Court

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has inaugurated an extension wing of the Delhi Government health centre (DGHS) located within the Supreme Court premises. The new facility is designed to serve Bar members, court staff, and personnel associated with advocates.

The clinic provides a range of medical services, including Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic, and Allopathic treatments. It is also equipped with diagnostic capabilities such as X-rays, blood tests, and ultrasound facilities. To ensure comprehensive care, the centre has established direct connectivity with specialized institutions, including the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences and RML Hospital.

Justice Surya Kant expressed gratitude to the Delhi Government and its health department for their assistance in fulfilling this long-standing demand, noting that healthcare is an issue that ‘brooks no compromise’.
