Suryakumar Yadav: The rise of India's T20 specialist

Suryakumar Yadav, known as ‘Mr 360 degree’ for his ability to hit shots in all directions, has risen from domestic cricket to become a prominent figure in Indian T20 cricket. Born on September 14, 1990, in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, Yadav moved to Mumbai at age 10 to train at the Vengsarkar Academy.

After a decade of domestic performance, he made his international T20 debut against England on March 14, 2021. He quickly made an impact, scoring 57 runs off 31 balls in his second match. His career also includes stints in the Indian Premier League (IPL), having played for the Mumbai Indians in 2012 and later spending four seasons with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
