Susan Collins campaign finance reports show large donor contributions

Federal Election Commission reports regarding Senator Susan Collins’ reelection campaign highlight significant contributions from high-net-worth individuals and private equity investors. Data shows that out of the last 100 direct donors to Collins, only 24 contributed less than $10,000, while the remainder provided much larger sums.

In addition to direct contributions, the Pine Tree Results Political Action Committee, which supports Senator Collins, has received substantial funding. Notable donors to the PAC include Kenneth Griffin, CEO of Citadel, LLC, who contributed $2.5 million, and Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of the Blackstone Group.
