Susan Sarandon to be honored at Rome Film Festival

Actress Susan Sarandon will be honored at the Rome Film Festival as part of the ‘Alice in the City’ program, a sidebar dedicated to films for children and youth. During the festival, Sarandon will present the international premiere of ‘The Accompanist,’ the directorial debut of Zach Woods. In the independent drama, Sarandon portrays Sylvia, a sharp-tongued woman navigating the challenges of becoming a foster parent to an eight-year-old girl. The film previously received positive reception following its screening at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.
