Susana Giménez confirms hiatus from television to film biopic

Argentine television host Susana Giménez has confirmed she will not return to television this year. Her decision stems from a focus on upcoming audiovisual projects, including a documentary and a biographical film about her life and career.

Giménez stated that filming for the movie is set to begin imminently. While she intends to present her history without filters, she noted that actresses to portray her at different life stages have not yet been selected. Some reports suggest the project may also involve an eight-episode series.

During recent interviews, Giménez also addressed her relationships with other prominent figures in Argentine entertainment. She expressed deep affection and admiration for Mirtha Legrand, noting she had sent numerous messages of support during Legrand's recent health issues. She also spoke conciliatorily regarding Moria Casán and shared reflections on the late comedian Jorge Porcel.
