Susana Rodríguez wins eighth Paralympic Triathlon World title in Pontevedra

At the Paralympic Triathlon World Championship in Pontevedra, Susana Rodríguez and her guide, Sara Pérez, secured their eighth world title in the PTVI category. The duo maintained a lead from the swimming stage through the cycling and running segments, finishing with a time of 1:06:37. This victory follows a controversial sanction during the 2023 edition that cost Rodríguez the title.

In the PTS4 category, Spanish athlete Nil Riudavets earned a silver medal, finishing just 13 seconds behind French triathlete Alexis Hanquinquant with a time of 1:00:07. Additionally, Dani Molina, a 2024 Paralympic champion, competed as a key representative for the Spanish delegation in the PTS3 category.
