Susanna Griso's Costa Brava Wedding Sparks Social Media Debate Over Groom's Pink Guayabera

On 25 July 2026, Spanish journalist Susanna Griso married entrepreneur Luis Enríquez in a civil ceremony at the exclusive Hotel La Gavina in S'Agaró, Costa Brava. Around 250‑300 guests, including notable figures from television, journalism and politics, attended the seaside event.

Griso wore a white‑red silk dress with a high‑neck “palabra de honor” cut, while Enríquez chose a custom‑made pink guayabera, a choice that generated extensive discussion on Instagram and X. Fashion designer Juan Avellanéa commented that the guayabera could be appropriate for a summer wedding but suggested a more formal trouser style would have been preferable.

Enríquez later responded to the criticism on social media, saying the backlash “bothers” him but that he accepts the jokes. The wedding’s relaxed “boho‑chic” dress code and its Mediterranean setting were highlighted as a departure from traditional wedding protocol.
