A small aircraft crashed in the Le Marais area of Suscévaz, Switzerland, on Thursday, August 13, 2026. The pilot, a 72-year-old resident of the Vaud region, was killed in the accident.

Preliminary findings indicate the aircraft was on its approach to Yverdon-les-Bains Airport when it went down for reasons that remain unclear. Emergency responders, including medical teams from Yverdon and St-Loup, as well as local fire services, attended the scene but could only confirm the pilot's death.
