Suseongmot Festival to feature diverse cultural performances

The Suseongmot Festival is scheduled to take place from the 18th to the 20th around the Suseongmot area. The event features a diverse lineup of original performances, including the opening theme 'K-Arts Fantasy,' which blends traditional Korean orchestral music with modern and traditional dance.

Activities include a youth music festival involving over 1,000 students from 28 local schools, a national youth dance competition, and a performance by the Suseong Youth Orchestra set against the Suseongmot fountain. The festival will conclude with 'Suseong Happiness Concert,' a large-scale choir performance, and an expanded music fireworks show on the opening and closing nights.

The Suseong Cultural Foundation has advised attendees to use public transportation, such as Daegu Subway Line 3, due to expected traffic congestion around the festival site.
