Sushmita Konidela appointed to Vijayawada temple trust board

Sushmita Konidela, a film producer and daughter of actor Chiranjeevi, has been appointed as a special invitee to the Trust Board of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam in Vijayawada. The appointment was made by the Andhra Pradesh government through the Endowments Department.

In her role at the temple located atop Indrakeeladri Hill, Konidela will provide advice and suggestions regarding devotee facilities, temple development, and the management of major festivals and fairs. The official appointment order was issued on September 7, 2026, by K Kanna Babu, Secretary of the Endowments Department.

This appointment follows recent administrative roles granted to other members of the Konidela family, including Surekha Konidela, who was appointed to a governing body in Telangana.
