Susie Wiles announces she is cancer-free after breast cancer battle

Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff for President Donald Trump, announced she is cancer-free following a battle with breast cancer. Wiles was originally diagnosed with the disease in March.

In an op-ed published in USA Today, Wiles described the grueling nature of managing a demanding professional role while undergoing treatment. She noted that the disease was “brutal and unrelenting,” often occupying her thoughts constantly. She shared that while the physical and mental toll was significant, her work provided a sense of purpose that helped her navigate the challenges of chemotherapy, scans, and side effects.
