Susie Wiles confirmed as White House Chief of Staff

President Donald Trump has affirmed Susie Wiles's position as White House Chief of Staff, signaling a preference for operational continuity over rapid personnel changes. This decision aims to reduce uncertainty in a critical government role and focus on policy implementation.

In addition to her role as Chief of Staff, Wiles has been appointed as co-chair of a new task force on women’s health led by First Lady Melania Trump. During the executive order signing ceremony in the Rose Garden, President Trump defended Wiles against recent rumors regarding her tenure, stating there is ‘zero chance’ of her being fired and that she will be in her position for a long time.

The announcement follows period of speculation regarding staff friction and Wiles's personal health battle with breast cancer, from which she is now reported to be cancer-free.
