Suspect carjacks light commercial vehicle in Adana

An unidentified individual carjacked a light commercial vehicle in the Seyhan district of Adana, Turkey. The incident occurred on Kurtuluş Avenue during midday when the suspect began walking in the middle of the busy street, obstructing traffic and forcing drivers to maneuver to avoid a collision.

According to reports, the suspect lay down in the road, forcing a passing light commercial vehicle to stop to avoid hitting them. Once the vehicle came to a halt, the suspect climbed onto the hood. When the driver exited the vehicle to react to the situation, the suspect entered the driver's seat through an open door and fled the scene.

Local police from the Public Security Branch have launched an investigation. Authorities are currently reviewing security camera footage to identify the suspect and recover the stolen vehicle.
