Sussex Police appeal for two men after Brighton beach assault

Sussex Police have launched an appeal for two men following the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl on Brighton beach. The incident occurred in the late afternoon or early evening of June 23 near the bottom of West Street.

According to investigators, the two men approached the victim and a friend while they were sitting on the beach and sat with them shortly before the incident. The victim was allegedly sexually touched over her clothing while she was in the water. Police have released CCTV images of the two men and are requesting that anyone with information contact them by calling 101, quoting reference 1694 of 23/06.
