BCSD Portugal (Business Council for Sustainable Development) is undergoing a rebranding to mark its 25th anniversary. President Rita Nabeiro stated that the new identity reflects how sustainability has moved from a peripheral issue to a core component of business strategy, intersecting with innovation, risk management, and competitiveness. The organization aims to integrate sustainability into how companies create value while addressing challenges like greenwashing and shifting international targets.

In the sector of waste management, LIPOR is launching a series of free webinars designed to promote the circular economy. The program focuses on strategic topics including textile waste management, the transition from bio-waste collection to biomethane production, and methods to accelerate recycling processes.
