Sustainability and urban regeneration events scheduled in Luxembourg and Italy

Various community events focused on sustainability and urban planning are set to take place in Luxembourg and Italy.

In Luxembourg City, the EU Festival for Youth Sustainable Innovators will be held on November 14 at the Forum Da Vinci. Organized by GaiaLux and Khesia, the program includes the REWIND Women interactive role-playing game, which addresses barriers women face in sports. The event also features a joint conference presenting the results of the Allez l’Éco, FLYE, and Sexuality Connect projects, followed by a sustainable coffee shop crawl to explore local green practices.

In Arcisate, Italy, the “Politiche da Bar” series will host a discussion on October 27 at Locanda Bellavista. The session focuses on “depaving,” an urban planning practice aimed at removing asphalt to increase permeable soil and green spaces to combat climate change. Architects Francesca Porfiri and Mauro Rivolta will lead the debate, which is organized through a collaboration between Giovani Democratici, Partito Democratico, and Italia Viva.
