Sustainability fairs in Araraquara and Recife showcase local creative economy

On July 12, Araraquara's Praça Pedro de Toledo hosted the “Quem Garimpa Acha” thrift‑shop fair, featuring over 100 vendors offering second‑hand clothing, crafts, food and cultural performances, with free entry and a prize‑cup game.

Two days earlier, on July 10, Sesc Santa Rita in Recife held a Sustainability Fair where artisans sold eco‑friendly accessories, food and handmade items, also free to the public. Both events aimed to promote conscious consumption, support small entrepreneurs and strengthen Brazil's creative‑economy sector.
