Sustainable Building Certification reports 40 projects for H1 2026

The Sustainable Building Certification (CES) reported its results for the first half of 2026, noting 40 registered projects, 23 pre-certified projects, and 15 certified projects. These initiatives span various sectors including airport infrastructure, higher education, corporate buildings, and sports facilities across different regions.

Key registered projects include the Andrés Sabella Airport in Antofagasta and the Desierto de Atacama Airport in Copiapó, both managed by the Ministry of Public Works. Other notable entries include the Malpo corporate building in Talca, the Rapa Nui Museum replacement on Easter Island, and the EBP UNAB La Casona building in Las Condes. Pre-certification highlights include the new IDIEM building at the University of Chile and the CAPSI Psychology Department at the University of Concepción.
