Sustainable mobility initiatives held in Neuquén and La Rioja
Regional initiatives regarding sustainable mobility and logistics are being highlighted in Argentina and Spain. In Neuquén, Argentina, the second Regional Sustainable Mobility Conference brought together state agencies, academic institutions, and civil society organizations to develop strategies for safer and more efficient urban movement. The event, hosted at the Casa de las Leyes, focused on creating cities that are safe for pedestrians and improving road safety through collaboration between the provincial police and local authorities.
In Spain, the University of La Rioja is conducting its IX Sustainable Mobility Week. As part of the program, a masterclass led by Miguel Ángel García Madurga from the University of Zaragoza addressed the professional opportunities emerging from the transformation of transport and logistics. The session explored the impacts of decarbonization, artificial intelligence, and automation on supply chain management, emphasizing the need for resilient logistics and new professional competencies in the evolving market.
