Susy Díaz recovers dress after ritual accident in Gamarra

Peruvian artist and former congresswoman Susy Díaz narrowly avoided ruining her attire for an upcoming gala in Spain following an accident during a spiritual ritual. While visiting the Gamarra commercial district to try on an exclusive red dress designed by Bryseida Casablanca, Díaz underwent a ‘florecimiento’ (blooming) ritual led by shaman Maestro Chunga.

During the ceremony, a black liquid was accidentally spilled on the garment, causing significant tension among those present. However, the designer was able to quickly treat the fabric using a specialized color-safe stain remover, restoring the dress to its original condition. Díaz expressed relief, praising the expertise of the Gamarra textile workers for resolving the issue before her trip to Europe.
