Suteba demands intervention in La Costa School Council over safety concerns

The teachers' union Suteba has called for the intervention of the School Council in the Partido de La Costa district due to ongoing safety concerns in local schools. Vanesa Lara Ramos, the union's general secretary, stated that the organization has formally notified the Director General of Culture and Education of the Province of Buenos Aires regarding these issues.

Key grievances include inadequate heating, the expiration of fire extinguisher maintenance, and the failure to execute necessary funds for school repairs. Ramos emphasized that the lack of compliance with safety regulations has resulted in some schools being unable to host students, and the union is demanding that the School Council, District Headquarters, and the Municipality fulfill their responsibilities to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
