Suvaco Futsal wins Canela Municipal Veteran Championship

Suvaco Futsal won the 2026 Canela Municipal Veteran Futsal Championship after defeating Oito e Meia 2-0 in the final. The deciding match took place on Friday night at the Carlinhos da Vila gymnasium following a 1-1 draw in the first game.

Goals for Suvaco were scored by Ludar, following a play by Espuleta, and Tatu, through an individual effort in the second half. Monte Sião secured third place in the tournament.

Individual honors included Espuleta being named the tournament's best player and Álvaro Boeira as the best coach. The top scorer was Ben Hur (also referred to as Bocão) from Santa Marta, who recorded 10 goals. Oito e Meia received the award for the best defense, conceding only 7 goals, while Garfo & Bombacha was recognized as the most disciplined team.
