Suvendu Adhikari launches Seva Jyoti Yatra in West Bengal

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has launched the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ in West Bengal, a campaign marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. The initiative aligns with the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision, which aims to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.

During the launch in Kolkata, Adhikari and his cabinet ministers took a pledge to contribute to India’s development goals. The campaign is set to be carried out across all districts of the state.

In a related event in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Adhikari participated in the concluding ceremony of the ‘Varanasi to Vadnagar Seva Yatra’ under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Speaking at the event, which was attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Adhikari highlighted the impact of central government welfare schemes. He specifically cited initiatives such as PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers, PM Awas Yojana for housing, and the UDAN scheme for aviation connectivity, noting that these programs aim to deliver benefits directly to citizens at the grassroots level.
