Suwałki hosts multi‑day cultural festival with concerts and Strongman championship

The city of Suwałki will hold its annual Dni Suwałk celebrations on 7–9 August 2026. The opening ceremony begins on Friday, 7 August at 18:00 with a vernissage of the exhibition “W niebiańskiej przestrzeni” at the Marian Murawski Gallery. On Saturday, 8 August, a city parade will pass through the streets at 16:00, welcomed by the Mayor, followed by the official opening of the programme in partnership with Radio ZET at 16:45. Concerts featuring Polish artists Agnieszka Chylińska, Maciej Skiba and Kaeyra start at 18:00 on the Bulwary nad Czarną Hańczą, alongside a trade and food zone operating from noon to 23:00.

Sunday, 9 August, continues with performances by the Municipal Brass Band, a literary‑limeryk competition, and a showcase by singers from the local cultural centre. The weekend also includes the European Strongman Team Poland federation championships at the Jadwiga Olbryś athletics stadium, concluding with the VI Suwałki Dance Party.
