Suwałki to launch digital reservation system for sports facilities

Suwałki is set to launch a digital platform later this year to manage and reserve sports and educational facilities. The system will centralize approximately 40 facilities across 14 units, allowing users to check availability, book slots, and make online payments.

Available venues include gymnasiums, halls, sports fields, lecture halls, conference rooms, and a karting track. The platform is designed to serve both amateur sports teams and corporate event organizers. Users will be able to filter searches by date, time, and type of activity.

The project, titled ‘Intelligent management of the availability of sports and educational facilities’, is part of a Smart City initiative funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the ‘European Funds for Podlaskie 2021-2027’ program. The total value of the task is 88,806.00 PLN. Currently, the system is in the testing phase, with staff training scheduled to conclude by the end of September.
