Suzuki and Nissan announce plans for Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026
Suzuki and Nissan have announced their exhibition plans for the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026, scheduled to take place from October 13 to 16 at Makuhari Messe. The event serves as a business platform for the automotive industry, startups, and research institutions to foster cross-industry collaboration.
Suzuki will focus on its multi-pathway technologies and various problem-solving products. Key exhibits include the MITRA multipurpose electric vehicle, an electric assisted walker for the elderly, and an introduction to its biogas business in India. The company will also showcase the Shuppa app for mobile food businesses and the JimJam app for Jimny owners.
Nissan will highlight its electrification and AI driving technologies. The company plans to display a cutaway model of its third-generation e-POWER powertrain and a new Elgrand model. Nissan also intends to showcase its next-generation ProPILOT prototype, which integrates advanced AI to aim for Level 4 autonomous driving. Additionally, Nissan will present its circular economy initiatives, such as the reuse of EV batteries and aluminum recycling.
