Suzuki Griquas and Airlink Pumas set for Currie Cup final

The Suzuki Griquas and Airlink Pumas will face each other in the 2026 Carling Currie Cup Premier Division final next Saturday in Kimberley. The matchup follows the conclusion of the semi-final round.

In the first semi-final, the Griquas secured a dominant 52-12 victory over the Fidelity ADT Lions in Kimberley. The Griquas established an early lead with tries from Lourens Oosthuizen and Marco de Witt, eventually leading 35-5 at halftime. Other scorers included Mnombo Zwelendaba, Stefan Coetzee, and Tiaan Lange.

In the second semi-final held in Bloemfontein, the Pumas defeated the Toyota Cheetahs with a score of 27-24. The final is scheduled to take place at Suzuki Stadium in Kimberley.
