Suzuki launches Fronx Sport in Malaysia with upgraded ADAS and sport styling

Suzuki Cars Malaysia unveiled the Suzuki Fronx Sport, a sport‑styled version of the Fronx Hybrid that debuted in the country in November 2025. Priced at 130,888 ringgit (about 855 million VND), the model adds exterior upgrades such as an extended front bumper, black‑finished grille, 17‑inch alloy wheels with Continental UltraContact UC7 tyres, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and Fronx Sport decals, while retaining the same 1.5‑L K15C gasoline engine, six‑speed automatic transmission, front MacPherson and rear torsion‑bar suspension, and a curb weight of 1,480 kg.

Inside, the cabin layout is largely unchanged except for the inclusion of a 4K front‑and‑rear dash cam. The vehicle carries the same ADAS suite as the standard Fronx—adaptive cruise control, blind‑spot monitoring, rear‑cross‑traffic alert, lane‑keep assist, lane‑departure warning, and lane‑departure prevention—while the Malaysian-spec adds two extra features: lane‑departure prevention and vehicle‑roll detection. Sales of the Fronx in Vietnam remain low, with only 596 units sold by the end of April 2026.
