Suzuki launches GN 160 retro-style motorcycle

Suzuki has launched the GN 160, a retro-modern motorcycle featuring a 162cc SOHC air-cooled engine. The model serves as an evolution of the popular GN 125, transitioning from a carburetor to electronic fuel injection.

Technical specifications include an output of 14.1 CV at 8,000 rpm and 14.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. For safety, the motorcycle is equipped with a front disc brake featuring single-channel ABS and a rear drum brake. It also features LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and a semi-digital instrument panel.

The GN 160 has been introduced in markets such as the Philippines and Colombia. In the Philippines, it is positioned as a lightweight option at approximately 128 kg with a low seat height of 760 mm, competing with models like the Kawasaki W175 and Yamaha XSR 155.
