Suzuki launches SV-7GX crossover motorcycle

Suzuki has released the SV-7GX, a new crossover motorcycle designed to balance urban commuting with long-distance touring. The model utilizes the well-known 645cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin engine from the SV650 series, delivering 73 horsepower and 64 N·m of torque.

Positioned as a versatile "standard" for modern riders, the SV-7GX features an upright riding position and a compact design that facilitates easy handling. It comes equipped with several standard features, including a three-stage adjustable windscreen, a quick shifter, traction control, drive mode selectors, a USB-C port, knuckle guards, and a rear carrier.

The motorcycle is priced starting from 1,133,000 yen (including tax) and is designed to run on regular gasoline. The model aims to bridge the gap between sporty performance and touring comfort, similar to the rise of SUVs in the automotive industry.
