Suzuki launches updated XL7 Hybrid SUV in Indonesia

Suzuki's Indonesian subsidiary, Suzuki Indonesia Motor (SIM), unveiled a refreshed version of the 7‑seat XL7 hybrid SUV at the GIIAS 2026 auto show on 29 July. The facelift adds a larger front grille, new bumper design, a 9‑inch infotainment screen and, on higher trims, a 360‑degree camera and drive‑recording system. Interior trim pieces have been revised for a more upscale feel.

The model retains the 1.5‑litre K15B gasoline engine paired with Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid Vehicle (SHVS) mild‑hybrid system, available with a five‑speed manual or a torque‑converter automatic. Dimensions remain at 4,450 mm length, 1,775 mm width and 1,710 mm height, with a 2,740 mm wheelbase. Production will continue at SIM’s Cikarang plant for domestic sales and export, with plans to market the vehicle in Thailand later in the year.
