Suzuki nostalgia: Celebrating ordinary cars at Grimsthorpe Castle
The Festival Of The Unexceptional, established by Hagerty in 2014, celebrates modest and ordinary vehicles that have become rare due to age and usage. The event takes place annually during the summer at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire.
Highlighting the longevity of these vehicles, a 2004 Suzuki Swift—originally part of a press fleet in France—has remained within the same circle of Suzuki employees for 22 years. Despite having traveled 235,000 km, the vehicle is reported to be in excellent condition, requiring no oil or coolant consumption.
