Suzuki to build new headquarters office building in Hamamatsu
Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced plans to construct a new office building at its headquarters in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with completion and operation expected in 2029.
The new seven-story facility will cover a total floor area of approximately 41,000 square meters. It is designed to serve as a hub for value creation and collaboration, featuring open spaces for internal and external stakeholders, diverse meeting rooms, and employee facilities such as a cafeteria. The design aims to foster communication across different departments and generations to enhance creativity and productivity.
To ensure business continuity, the building will utilize a seismic isolation structure, positioning it as a core center for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) during large-scale disasters. Additionally, the facility will incorporate high-efficiency equipment and energy-saving technologies to reduce environmental impact while maintaining a comfortable working environment.
