Suzuki to launch SV-7GX crossover motorcycle in Japan

Suzuki has announced the launch of its new crossover motorcycle, the SV-7GX, in Japan on October 13, 2026. The model, which was previously unveiled at EICMA 2025 in Milan, is designed to blend the performance of a street bike with the comfort of an adventure model, making it suitable for both daily commuting and long-distance touring.

The SV-7GX features a 645cc liquid-cooled V-twin DOHC four-valve engine producing 54kW of maximum power at 8500rpm and 64N·m of torque at 6800rpm. It is equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which includes a drive mode selector, traction control, a bi-directional quick shifter, and low RPM assist.

Pricing for the model starts at 1,133,000 yen (including tax) for the Brilliant White color, with other color options priced at 1,177,000 yen. Suzuki has set an annual domestic sales target of 840 units for this new model.
