Suzuki unveils Across plug‑in hybrid with 309 hp, larger battery

Suzuki has introduced an updated Across plug‑in hybrid SUV. The model receives a completely redesigned front end with Full LED optics, new 18‑inch alloy wheels and fresh colour options. Inside, the cabin is revised with electrically adjustable front seats, a heated passenger seat, a driver seat with ten‑way electric adjustment, memory and lumbar support, as well as a digital cockpit featuring a 12.3‑inch instrument cluster, a 12.9‑inch central touchscreen, head‑up display and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

The powertrain combines a 2.5 L gasoline engine with two electric motors and a larger 22.7 kWh battery, producing a total output of 309 hp (309 CV). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is claimed at 6.1 seconds. All‑wheel drive is provided by Suzuki’s AllGrip E‑Four system, offering Normal, Eco, Sport and Trail driving modes. Safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane‑keeping assist, driver monitoring and a 360‑degree camera. The vehicle is listed at €55,900, with a launch discount of €4,500 for contracts signed before 30 September 2026, and offers cargo capacity from 672 L up to 1 647 L with rear seats folded.
