Suzuki updates BURGMAN 400 ABS scooter for E10 gasoline, maintains price

Suzuki Motor Corp announced that its 400 cc luxury scooter, the BURGMAN 400 ABS, will be released on 18 August 2026 with a minor specification change to allow use of E10 gasoline, a blend containing up to 10 % bio‑ethanol. The model keeps its three colour options – reflective blue metallic, pearl‑matte shadow green and matte black metallic No. 2 – and the retail price remains at ¥981,100 (≈98 万100円). The scooter retains its 399 cc DOHC single‑cylinder engine, dual‑spark technology, traction‑control system, LED head‑lamp and rear‑combination lamp, 15‑inch front wheel and link‑type mono‑shock rear suspension, and offers a 42‑litre under‑seat storage compartment and a front box with a 12 V socket. The update follows previous revisions that added traction control in 2021 and complied with domestic emission standards. Suzuki positions the revised BURGMAN 400 ABS as a premium, environmentally‑friendly option for everyday riding and touring.
