SV Elversberg has announced the signing of striker Noel Futkeu from Eintracht Frankfurt on a one-year loan deal. The agreement for the Bundesliga newcomer also includes an option to purchase the player.

Futkeu, 23, joins the club following a highly successful period at SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he finished the previous second-division season as the league's top scorer with 19 goals in 34 appearances. Eintracht Frankfurt had previously re-acquired him from Fürth by exercising a buy-back clause earlier in the summer.

SV Elversberg Sporting Director Christian Weber praised the signing, noting Futkeu's proven goal-scoring instinct, clinical finishing, and work rate. Futkeu expressed enthusiasm for the move, stating that playing in the Bundesliga is a significant career step he has been eager to take.
