SV Gelnhausen swimming team completes autumn training camp

The first team of the SV Gelnhausen swimming club completed its first autumn training camp of the season from October 5 to October 10. Held locally in the club's indoor pool and training areas, the camp focused on physical conditioning, performance diagnostics, and team building.

Under the direction of head coach Heike Heeger, the athletes participated in intensive water and land-based training. The program included professional performance diagnostics, such as VO2-max analysis and muscle testing, supported by the Balnova health center. Former high-level swimmer Barbara Schaal also provided technical expertise during the sessions.

In addition to swimming, the team engaged in HYROX-style athletic training at the Multisport Academy to improve land-based endurance. Local sponsors, including REWE Rainer Lapp, provided nutritional support for the participants throughout the week.
